Location Information

Located just outside the town limits of Boiling Springs, North Carolina. This quaint college town is located in Cleveland County, just minutes from the South Carolina border in the foothills of the Appalachian mountain range. 53 miles west of Charlotte, 76 miles south east of Asheville, and 33 miles north east of Spartanburg, South Carolina the Broad River extends from its Blue Ridge Mountain head waters down to Columbia, South Carolina.

At Broad River Highlands you can relax and enjoy the sound of the river flowing across the rocks or go fishing, tubing, kayaking and canoeing from your own river front lot, or from the Broad River Highlands 4.6 acre river front community access.

Just a few minutes away you can enjoy a sandy beach at the Broad River Greenway which offers additional river access with biking, hiking and horse back riding trails. The Riverbend Golf Course is located 4 miles away, and many other golf courses are within a 30 to 45 minute drive.

Locally you will find movie theatres, tennis, horseback riding, Kings Mountain Historic Military Park, Cowpens Battle Ground, and the Cleveland County Historical Museum.

At Gardner Web University you can experience an ongoing schedule of concerts and live arts performances.  Be sure and stop by Shadyside Dragway for great local drag racing. There are several local restaurants including the Italian Garden and Broad River Coffee Company as well as many others in the neighboring towns of Shelby and Forest City. A 30 minute drive to the south is Gaffney, South Carolina where you will find a large outlet shopping mall.
